“Heavy Water” is the story of Nathan Fletcher – an American surfer, who in the late 90s became famous for his passion for both sport and extreme performances. It is also a story about a man for whom surfing is a lifetime to this day and who significantly contributed to the development of the discipline. The production shows the most crucial moments in Fletcher’s career, although it also does not shun from more personal topics. However, it is difficult to avoid a private perspective when the narrators are members of the Nathan family, and above all his grandfather, also an outstanding surfer. However, this is not the end, because the next important thread is friendship, thanks to which it is possible to make dreams come true, cross borders and mark new routes. The extraordinary bond, combining surfing with skateboarding, proves all the time that the impossible … does not exist.
